Our Mission
The purposes of the North Star Elementary School PTA align with the New Mexico and National PTA and include:
Promoting the welfare of children and youth in home, school and throughout the community.
Advocating for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth.
Promoting the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth.
Engaging the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental.
PTA membership is open to family members, teachers, staff and invested community members. The membership year aligns with the North Star School Year.


The PTA Board
The North Star PTA Board is made up of committed parent volunteers from the North Star Community. Each board member is voted into office during the Spring general meeting and serves a term of 2 years.
